American Idol's group sing is awesome for disco night--they're all dressed up in the craziest 70s clothes you can imagine. Anoop Desai looks totally hilarious with his shirt open, Adam Lambert is just loving all the attention, Allison Iraheta is over-the-top -- but everyone is great.
They all seem to be having a great time dancing and singing, with the choreography by Paula Abdul. This is by far the best group sing of the year--it's fun, each finalist takes a turn in the middle strutting the stuff, all over-the-top and totally in the spirit of the 70s. I'd totally watch this again.
I wish they'd shown this much spirit last night; it's the best thing we've seen all week. Paula gushes about how hard everyone worked, she gets a huge arrangement of flowers for her work.
Then, American Idol's in-house car commercial for Mitsubishi or whatever is set around the theme of 'hard at work,' they're all doing random jobs like building a wall or washing a dog.
Then they get together at some cafe. It's one of the more dumb car ads. The contestants are all changed, and now it's time for elimination.....
