This past Friday, Paula Abdul surprised former American Idol contestant Scott MacIntyre by having him participate in not a performance, but a meeting with two friendly guide dogs at the Guide Dogs of America training facility in Sylmar, CA.
Scott, who is the first visually impaired contestant on American Idol, was touched that Paula presented him with his very own guide dog and is excited to train with his canine helper after the remainder of the American Idol tour.
